Course Description

Become a Phlebotomy Technician at Bliss Medical Academy in Duluth, Georgia. Learn the art of blood and specimen collection — a vital, in-demand skill across hospitals, labs, and clinics. This Phlebotomy Technician Program prepares students for entry-level employment and eligibility for national certification examinations.

  • Duration: 5 weeks
  • Total Hours: 110 (60 Hours Live Lectures, 50 Hours In-person Labs)
  • Lectures: Mon, Wed, Friday 4PM-8PM
  • Labs: Sat and Sun 10AM-3PM

Registration Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Government-issued Valid Photo ID

Payment Plan Options

  • A non-refundable application fee of $150 is required to secure a seat in the program.
  • The remaining tuition balance may be paid for in up to three (3) installments, with full
    payment due no later than the midpoint of the course, unless a written payment extension
    has been approved in advance.

Completion & Certification

To become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT), graduates of Bliss Medical Academy must successfully pass a
national certification examination administered by a third-party certifying organization, such as
the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
