The program is 16 weeks, hybrid format: 210 hours of live weekday evening lectures via Zoom, 196 hours of weekend in-person lab training, plus an 80-hour supervised clinical externship.

No. Our American Heart Association CPR, BLS, and Heartsaver courses are open to the public — healthcare professionals, caregivers, parents, and community members are all welcome.

No. While our curriculum prepares students for NHA certification, the exam itself must be taken at an approved external NHA testing center, not on-site at Bliss Medical Academy.

Our program prepares you for the NHA certification exam, which is taken at an approved NHA testing center after you complete the program. We'll guide you through scheduling.

What if I don't pass the NHA certification exam on my first attempt?

You don't have to repeat the program. You can retake the exam after a 30-day waiting period, up to three attempts within a calendar year. Each retake has its own exam fee, and you'll get a score report showing which areas to focus on.
